Cycle tourism is a form of sustainable itinerant expanding in Italy and the rest world, with prospects for growth coming years. Europe North America have already developed wide range cycling infrastructures tied to experiences. Benefits induced are generally recognised: first, it solution that increases local economics while conserving environment; second, guarantees advantages on social connections, amusement, physical mental health. However, requires an adequate network enjoy destinations as historical landscape peculiarities. Currently, literature provides some methods planning itineraries dedicated cycle tourism. Despite that, there less attention how evaluating existing or planned tourist itineraries. This study covers this gap, by applying integrated method assess bicycle connections experiences within municipalities. Since evaluation may contain many conflicting criteria (e.g., preferences public administrator, technical economic viability) possible alternatives, frames multi-criteria decision-making problem (MCDM). Specifically, at Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) adopted calculate weights each criterium; next, ELimination Et Choix Traduisant la REalitè (ELECTRE) applied provide (possible) priority ranking paths among computing indices discordance concordance between pairs alternatives.
